About Me

I was Born in Knoxville, TN in a household with six sisters. Yep! that’s right, six sisters and no brothers. I attended a little white church that my grandfather built every Sunday and Wednesday up until I was about 15 years old. At the age of 16 years old I moved away from home and started my own adventures out in the world, moving to Columbus, OH where I lived for twenty some odd years.

As a mother of four and a grandmother of six my life is very busy. I currently work from home building and developing my first home-based internet marketing business. I love working with people so I try (in my spare time) to spend as much time on my social websites as possible. Feel free to visit me on facebook, twitter, myspace and many other social sites.

I enjoy outdoor activities such as; saltwater fishing and Tampa Bay Buccaneer football. My husband and I are avid fans of  the “Lynard Skynard” band and make it a point to attend every year their ”Simple Man” cruise, hosted by “Sixthman”. We will be attending as alumni’s again in January 2010 for our fourth year with our friends, the band, and many other southern rock bands including Molly Hatchett.

I enjoy watching a good movie, line-dancing and reading any books written by Nora Roberts. I also try and get my hands on as many self-help educational books that I can find time to read. I enjoy expanding my mind by learning as much as I can in order to be a positive role model for my children and grandchildren.

I currently live in Valrico, FL (outside of Tampa) in a beautiful home that backs up against a luxurious park surrounded by oak trees. Not only does it have a  beautiful view, but it provides a relaxing and peaceful getaway in my own backyard.

I have a cat named “Star” that my youngest daughter rescued from a pet store, and I sometimes have the priviledge of watching her dog “Babygirl” when they make plans that will require them to be away for long periods of time.

I look forward to short get aways to the beach where I enjoy listening to the local musical entertainment, while enjoying a cool beverage, and tanning in the sand.

Married for 24 years to a wonderful man, I’m currently in the process of planning our Silver Anniversary Party for July. So you can imagine how busy this year has already become. Thank you for visiting my site and I hope that you enjoy your stay.
